Absztrakt: The number of species of the Hungarian scale insect fauna increased to 279. A new mealybug
(Pseudococcidae) species proved to be Iris mealybug (Phenacoccus emansor Williams &
Kozarzhevskaya), collected on the roots of the sea aster (Tripolium pannonicum, Asteraceae) in the
greenhouse of Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Buda Campus. It is likely that
it will not become an invasive species
